‘The Voice’ star shot dead in Orlando
Horrifically, Christina Grimmie, star of ‘The Voice 2014’ in America was shot dead in Orlando on Friday evening after a gig – she was 22 years of age.
Details of Christina’s death reveal the shooter was known as Kevin James Loibl, 27, who shot himself directly after the tragic act of violence. The police force in Orlando revealed Loibl had been carrying two guns, two loaded magazines and a hunting knife on his person during the shooting.
Intent behind the murder is yet to be revealed as Loibl’s belongings / movements showed no connection to Christina prior to their meeting.
Grimmie’s rep stated, “It is with a heavy heart that we can confirm that Christina has passed and went home to be with the Lord. She was shot at her show in Orlando and, unfortunately, didn’t survive the gun shot wounds. We ask at this time that you respect the privacy of her family and friends in their time of mourning.
